About Iceland Talks / Get in touch

The website get its material from various sources in Iceland and abroad. Bankers, lawyers and all kinds of professionals contribute.

This website is dedicated to tell the truth about what is happening in Iceland. We focus on material that the Icelandic media is not covering to any extent. That is quite a lot to say the least.

If you have any questions or want information, please don’t hesitate to send us an email.

We have been getting more and more information sent to us from various sources about sensitive material that we have published, so if you have any good information, please get in touch.

We keep 100% anonymity of sources as a rule, and we will never expose sources to the public or in private.

Send us tips, pointers or leak information to: nestor@nestormedia.net

  1. What became of this site? It was very courageous and busy for a brief while and then…

  2. Hello,
I’m a completely independant French politist. Twenty years ago, I spent nearly five years (1988-end of 1992) in Iceland, as a diplomat.
And, later on, I published some books and articles (in French) about your country’s politics and economy.
Now, i’m a very old man (more than 82 years old), but, even though I don’t write any more any kind of material on Iceland, i’m still interested by the recent developments of your political life, specially since the collapse of your three “old banks”at the end of 2008 and the deep crisis which fell on Iceland
So, i’m interested by reading your well-informed “Independant Icelandic News’ (I was informed of their existence by a former friend of mine, who has been living in Iceland for nearly 30 years). Can you tell me how to subscribe your publication ?
    Thanks
    Yours truly.
    J. Mer

Itried to click the link “subscribe, but it did’nt work.
So, would you be so kind as to send me articles via email on a regular basis (three times a week, for instance).
    Best regards.
    JM

  6. Great site. I just wrote an article and quoted/linked to an article in the old site. Really outstanding analysis, bold too!

The article is “First Iceland, then the World” and it’s here, among other places:

    The Agonist
    http://agonist.org/iceland

    Daily Censored
    http://dailycensored.com/2010/03/07/first-iceland-then-the-world/

Excerpts and a pointer to The Agonist is at DemocraticUnderground.Com, a huge site:

    Keep up the great work!

  7. Hi, seems like the right place to get quality news on Iceland. I’m in France and and a rumor has it that the people of Iceland are having a silent peaceful revolution. However no sign of it in any media I’ve seen.
Can you comment on that and maybe send some links to articles (in French or English) explaining the situation ? If true the word needs to be spread !
    Thank you very much,
    VtB
