OSCE monitoring Icelandic election in April

Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will monitor the forthcoming April parliamentary elections Iceland according to Morgunbladid newspaper.

The main issues that need monitoring are possible changes to the election rules and laws, media issues and accessibility of electoral monitors. OSCE also says that the general public believes that elections here are fair and reliable, but because of the economic collapse demands of changes to the laws have been loud.

Editors note:
Usually the elections here are pretty reliable. But the corruption and manupulations happen before. Media access, money to political parties, favours for support and so on.
We will discuss the election, election laws and corruption in more details shortly.
